The most important sheep production, is found in the far south of Chile, in the region of the Strait of Magellan and Firelan. CONTROL AND SLAUGHTERING The lives lambs are transported directhy from the “estancias”, in special arranged trucks and receptioned in the plant by officers of the ministry of Agriculture, Servicio Agr ícola y Ganadero (SAG), who certify the good health condition and procedence. The lambs stay for at least 12 hours under covered stockyards before slaughter. The quality in made in all areas of the plant.Relevant are the ones made in slaughterina, caras selection, high voltage simulation, pre chilling process, temperature control in freezers, packing up to final destination. It is important to mention that cuts are produced in chilled and frozen condition in a cariety of packing in order to match the customer requirements, the technology is available at this plant, together whit a very skilled personnel, assure to obtain a consistent product, homogeneous, and of the highest quality.
